Avataari ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform to create digital clones and preserve your legacy.
When you interact with your avatar, Avataari works with trusted third-party AI providers to generate responses, transcribe speech, and synthesise your voice. We share only the data each provider needs for its task, and none of them use your content to train their general models:
When you chat with your avatar, your messages - together with the relevant stories, documents, and details you have added - are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate a response in your style, grounded in your own content. Avataari uses the Gemini API on a paid plan: your content is not used to train Google's models. Google may retain limited data for a short period for abuse monitoring and to meet legal obligations, as described in its terms.
Google's processing is subject to the Gemini API Terms and the Google Privacy Policy.
When you opt in to voice cloning, your voice recordings are transmitted to ElevenLabs to create a personalised voice model. ElevenLabs processes this audio solely to generate and host your voice model on our behalf. No voice data is used to train ElevenLabs' general models.
ElevenLabs' processing is subject to the ElevenLabs Privacy Policy.
When you speak to your avatar, your audio may be transcribed using OpenAI's Whisper model. Transcripts are used only to generate a response and are not stored beyond the active session.
OpenAI's processing is subject to the OpenAI Privacy Policy.
In some jurisdictions, voice recordings and voice prints may be considered biometric identifiers. Voice cloning on Avataari is optional - it is only used if you choose to enable it, and it uses only the recordings you provide. Your voice data is used solely to build your own voice model; it is never sold, shared, or used to train general AI models. You can delete your voice model and recording at any time from your account settings.
You own your data. Period.
